Memorial Bench Dormansland Church Part 2

I finally finished painting the Memorial bench in Dormansland, Surrey, it took a couple of days to paint as I had to keep coming back because of rain, however I think it's turned out ok in the end. I used 240 grit sandpaper to sand down manually as I could not use any power tools for obvious reasons, I then used Rustins Oak wood stain, this is a water based wood stain that is very good for painting outside garden furniture. Rustins is very quick drying, it's durable & available in 750ml cans of gloss or satin. It gives very long lasting protection to all external wood, & is touch dry within 30 minutes, you can re coat the wood stain after 4 hours.
