Fence painting or staining is one of the boring chores we all have to face at some point if we want to keep our garden looking crisp clean and tidy, many of my clients used to just brush any old fence paint over the wood and didn't bother too much regarding the actual finish.

I on the other hand love painting fences, and apart from fully preparing the fence for painting I get into all the nooks and crannies, you can't really paint a fence effectively with a spray machine or pump action sprayer it will always miss parts of the fence. I use a good old fence brush and some smaller specialist brushes to complete my task.

Hand painting your old or used furniture can be a very daunting task, you can achieve very good result with the right painting tools and equipment, I have been painting & decorating in and around East Grinstead, West Sussex for many years and still find certain tasks a challenge.

My son loves Brighton Hove Albion football team, he asked me to update an old chest of drawers we had in the garage, he decided on a Blue & White stripe the same as the home football kit, I even colour matched the blue from his home football shirt. 

I used Dulux Satin Water based, Zinsser BIN, Bullseye 123 and Bedec Aqua Advanced Satin, I also used Green Frog tape to lay out the lines.
