Exterior Painting Windows East Grinstead

I have just finished  9 days painting windows at a lovely house at Holtye Golf Course near East Grinstead, West Sussex. I also painted window frames, soffits & fascias, I couldn't have asked for better weather, the last two weeks have been sunny hot and blue skies just the right kind of weather to paint the outside of any house.

The windows on the house hadn't been painted for 13 years and to be honest they were in good overall condition, but with any painting and decorating job the key to success is all in the preparation, I sanded all the windows with different levels & grades of sandpaper I also used Abranet, I used my painter tools to access all the hard to reach areas and sand every last bit of flakey paint away ready for a good dust down and then the paint could be applied.

I like to use water based paints for interior & exterior, it stays white, dries quick and lasts just as long as old oil based paint, it's also better for the environment.
